When former Steps star Claire Richards lost a whopping five stone back in 2008, she thought she had found her answer.
But, just two years later, she’d piled all the weight back on again.
In a new three-part documentary coming to Sky Living HD this September, Claire attempts to uncover the real reason why she has such an unhealthy attitude to food and the effect her yo-yo dieting is having on her body.
With the help of industry experts, fellow dieters and celebrity friends, Claire aims to find out if she can reprogramme her eating habits and break her obsession with junk food.
Claire told us: “If I’m upset, I’ll eat. If I’m happy, I’ll eat. If I’m sad, I’ll eat. Any kind of emotion – food is what I’ll go for. If I like the taste of something I’ll just keep eating until I feel sick. Which is just not normal!”
Over the course of a year, the cameras have followed Claire to see if she can win her battle against the binge eating.
But is there such a thing as a quick fix to the perfect body?
